Cycling A Contiguous Route From Canada-to-Mexico
2006, 2010, 2011, and 2012
On August 18th, we completed the last of our bicycle trips that comprise our contiguous route from Canada to Mexico. Cycling this complete route was years in the making, and we had a lot of adventures doing it.
The Canada to Mexico route we cycled is approximately 1,645 miles in length, through beautiful (and rugged) country. It took us 31 days to do it.

The details of each trip has pictures and narrative describing our experience cycling it, as well as elevation profiles of sections where such a profile is essential to know.
Since some maps were only a part of the same trip, clicking on any such maps will take you to the start-page for that entire bicycle trip.
All but the trip from Utah to Phoenix were done from south to north. The Utah to Phoenix trip was done from north to south to avoid the 5000 foot climb from Phoenix to Flagstaff.
