Aere's Orchestrations Of Other People’s Music
These are my orchestrations of other people’s music – usually compositions of Johannes Brahms, since they are my favorite piano pieces, and seem to have been composed with awareness of multiple independent parts (not just multiple note-heads on stems). This awareness makes for excellent orchestrations into instrument parts.

Little Girl – Orchestral Version
My goal was to take a simple song, and arrange it for symphony orchestra. Many thanks to my friend Salima, for encouraging me to do my best with her amazing song, "Little Girl". Its 3-against-2 polyrhythms made for a wildly exciting orchestral work! Used by permission.

I orchestrated this piano scherzo by Brahms, realizing there was enough material in it for an entire symphony orchestra. It's a virtuoso piano piece, and the orchestra parts are similarly difficult.
With this piece, you get to enjoy a new orchestral work by Brahms, though he's been dead since the 1800's. And it's done only as a super-fan of Brahms could lovingly do.
This version is complete, including all the repeats.
